[It's New Feather season, and there's a redhead with yellow wings looking a little bit lost as she wanders through the village. She can be found looking in the clothes shop and the item shop, then stopping to look at the windows of the flower shop, looking a little bit dazzled.

Eventually, she'll settle in front of the fountain and leaf through the first few pages of her journal.]

[Vanille's in her normal clothes when the video starts, and she looks just a little skeptical before she realizes that it's actually working. She gets technology, but this? This is a little strange.]

Or a woman named Lightning? Or two men, Sazh or Snow, or a boy named Hope? Or a girl about my age, named Serah...they couldn't have brought little Dajh here, he's way too young to be away from his daddy...

Right! If you're there, well, I'll be by the fountain!

And I have a question for everyone else! Is it always so pretty like this? It must be nice, having the forest so close. And the mountains, too! Even if there are monsters or something out there, I want to see all of it!

It is kind of cool around here, huh? The forest and mountains so close by are nice, but the village itself is really great too.

It's absolutely beautiful! My village back home was pretty, with the flowers and everything that used to grow around it, but I think I love the mountains and the forest, too. I could really get used to exploring it, I think!

Going out and exploring is great the first few times you go out, and when it gets warmer you can always go down to the beach. Looking around the simulations put together in the battle dome can be really fun sometimes too!

There's a beach? Oh, I love the beach! That sounds great!

[She's not so sure about this battle dome thing, though.]

Are all those simulations fighting?

[The beach is awesome, and so are the simulated beaches and resorts in the dome now that he thinks about it.]

No way! I mean, a lot of people use them for fighting, I do a lot of them time. But some people have made simulations that have no monsters or anything like that in them.
